This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
Some days, it is easier to rejoice than others. Today did not start out as one of them. I woke when my husband left for work and could not fall back to sleep. I was worrying about bills and a few employment choices for my husband.
Worrying in the middle night doesn't do any good. It's not as if you can physically do anything to correct the situation at 3 am, except pray. And I did, I tried to give to it God, but the enemy was working overtime. I woke up grouchy, my carpool person decided to leave early, so I was on my own, then she called and asked me to get something from her house, which would have made me later (and definitely made me grouchier).
Yet when I did get to Bible Study, we just received... lifted our hands and faces to the Lord and received, and while I didn't hear anything, I saw waves of purple behind my closed eyes and smelled burning incense. Someone called me over to pray for me and told me God was going to take me incredible places, my feet were going to bring me there... Then she asked if she could wash my feet. (FYI when someone asks that you say Yes.) And she did, just with a wet cloth, praying over me and yet afterward, I felt as though I had a full pedicure. My feet felt like they had been covered with lotion.
So yeah, this is the day the Lord has made, and I'm going to be glad and rejoice in it!

Paula's Awesome Edibles
Creating in Colorado doesn't just have to be about paper crafting, it's anything I create. Last week I catered a customer appreciation event at the Smelter's Coal Room on 8th in Durango. I made mini cupcakes and did up a veggie tray as well as a cheese platter. I am happy to report the food was a great success and I hope to do some more catering in the La Plata County area.

Countdown to Christmas
Name frames seem to be the latest rage and it's a good thing too! Who can resist using their Big Shot and their Stampin' Up Alphabet Simple dies? I am not that strong!
I did this name frame for my Colorado Mother as a hostess appreciation gift. What? You want to be appreciated too? You can, just host a Stampin' Up workshop and I will definitely appreciate you.

Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad
Good thing my parents don't check this every day (or ever). I was supposed to mail this little gem over a week ago. I've used the Manhattan Flower Embossing Folder and have used the Stampin Pastels to shade the flower. The new Teeny Tiny Wishes, they say it all don't they? Granted the background is Pacific Point, but did I mention my parents don't check out my blog so they don't know it's retired.
