Bike Birthday Invite.
For my son's 10th birthday, we are going to ride the Animas Bike Trail along the Animas river with a BBQ at the end of the trail. It's a gorgeous ride and a great opportunity to use his new bike.
I've used the Just Riding set, the chalkboard technique (one of my fav's), Natural Ivory, Kiwi Kiss and Chocolate Chip c/s. Of course, you can't have an invitation without the Hugs & Wishes set--I hope it never retires!

Flag Accordion Album Class
Sorry, I got caught up in the end of school year activities with the kids and have neglected my new audience.
Next Wednesday, I will be hosting a flag accordion album class at the Pine Valley Church here in Bayfield. The cost is $10 and space is limited, so please sign up in advance. If you really want to make the album, but cannot attend, I will send you the kit with instructions for $12.50.

I'm getting it!
Ok, so it's day 2 and I'm still here. I will be adding stuff as I figure it out, so be sure to check daily for new stuff.
I'm sending this card to my mother tomorrow. Don't tell her you saw it here first. I used the Raspberry Tart DSP, the eyelet boarder punch, and the Sizzlits Birds & Blooms. Hope she likes it. If she doesn't I'll just tell her it's a Hallmark.

Welcome to my Blog!
Hello. Thanks for checking me out. I'm really new to this blog thing so please be patient as I muddle through. Generally, I favor the 12 x 12 scrapbook page and I host two groups once a month were we make 2 sets of 12 x 12 pages. However, for my first post, I'm going with a classic as Mother's Day is right around the corner.
For this Mother's Day card I've used the Doodle This set and the chalkboard technique. The image was stamped twice using the Whisper White craft ink and colored with the pastels and a cotton ball. The petals of the top flower were curled under, wrapping them around a pencil.
